Re: PCI scsi board question

You need to check the possible scsi boards for the rp3410 server at http://partsurfer.hp.com

Click server then pick your server and check interface cards.

If the partnumber is listed, yes. If not,no.

Re: PCI scsi board question

Hi Manuel,

I believe you can and I dont' see any problem. RP3410 is very limited on PCI slots. As long as you can manage them well, I don't see an issue.

Re: PCI scsi board question

Hi,

should'nt be too much of a problem. Hpux 11i should pick it up aswell so need to install drivers for it, but been limited in slots depending upon future expansion you might be better off buying the dual fwd interface card instead.

Re: PCI scsi board question

Hi,

Doesn't look like the controller is supplied / supported on rp 3410,

http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main?sel_flg=partinfo&template=main&cpric=&psrchmode=&partsrch=A4800A&submit.x=10&submit.y=7

Hope this helps.

Re: PCI scsi board question

Hi Manuel
As far as rp3410 is concerned PCI shouldn't be any problem. However it is advised to lock a call with the HP Call centre and get the support from the if it is under contract of HP,how ever 11i shouldn't be any problem.

Re: PCI scsi board question

According to the HP information I have, this is not supported. For SCSI cards supported on rp34xx, see: http://www.hp.com/products1/servers/rackoptimized/rp3400_series/supplies.html
