Re: PF_DSEACH3HP04 update firmware problem

hi Yuri, I know its been a while since your query, and I unfortunaltey do not have an answer for you.

I have come across the exact same problem with our l class server.

could you tell me if you actually managed to update the firmware on the discs or were they all failing, or did you need some patch installing?
have you got round it?

your help would be much appreciated

thanks

Andy

Re: PF_DSEACH3HP04 update firmware problem

Gentlemen,

It's been my experience that Disk FW upgrades are usually best left to CEs. They should be covered by your HW & SW maintenance.
I would also recommend that you upgrade the PDC FW as well - preferrably at the same time. I've always been successful w/PDC upgrades BTW.
