Re: Plaese, help.. withmy server.
Below is a link to the documentation about the minimum firmware level you need to have before you can install 11iv2 (11.23)
http://www.docs.hp.com/en/5991-0703-en/5991-0703-en.pdf
Table 1.2. Minimum GSP Firmware for Entry-Level HP 9000 Servers
rp5400/rp5450 A.01.12 PF_CPREGSPA0112
Minimum PDC Firmware for Entry-Level HP 9000 Servers
rp5400/rp5450 44.28 PHSS_31800 PHSS_31801 PF_CRHW4428
Also make a list of your I/O cards and make sure they are supported for 11iV2

Re: Plaese, help.. withmy server.
It is difficult to answer your latest question without knowing what kind of software you are running on the the L2000. Also what kind of hardware do you have inside the L2000 (number of cpu's, disk sizes, memory, io-cards)
PA-Risc systems have reached end-of-sales, can you run your software on Itanium hardware?
The entry level Itanium RX2660 will easily outperform your L2000, but it is has a limited number of pci slots.
