Please help me, lost sn and product number.

With the following error, what could I do? thanks a lot.
1. The serial number is always lost when the server boot up. Message is,
WARNING: The system serial number is invalid.

2. One Fan is faulty.
Cabinet 0 Hardware Inventory:
Component Present Failure State

Cabinet Fans (blowers) 8 1 unknown

3. The Product Number also is always lost,
HPUX Model Number......: N4000

Hi,

contact the hp support. Special tools are needed to correct the serial number.

Could you tell me why SN is lost? which hardware is faulty? GSP or system board?

continue without any ideas, looks like we have to contact HP support for using ss_update to correct sn, but we have no service contract.
