Port pbroblem on HP 9000 rp3440 Server

In this system below i havn't video bord (card). But i need to install the OS (hpux). Someone know how can i connect my monitor? or what is the procedure to make the installation?

Hi,

Connect it to a laptop through the serial port and use a terminal emulator.

You may also use a LAN console..

If you can run commands on hp-ux you already have an OE installed, right?

You need to use a terminal (PC+putty) to the serial MP connector or make a telnet connection to the MP.

The VGA port you can see is not supported on this system.

I want to make a new installation(using the lan). this server havn't an ip adress. so what is the procedure?

Connect through console, or configure MP lan using laptop & use MP Ip address to connect.
