Power consumption of a V2600 server

We are planning some modifications in our power infrastructure (UPS, etc). I need to know how many Amperes at maximum a V2600 server (6 CPUs, 6 GB memory, more than half of the expansion slots occupied and no internal disks) consumes NOT counting external enclosures (disks, tapes, etc.) and the test/management station.

Re: Power consumption of a V2600 server

8000 VA per V2600 cabinet.
50A circiut breaker in needed.
8KVA UPS is needed for V2600 alone.
So ampres will be 8000/220 = 36 Amperes Approx.

More details:
Maximum configuration V2500 Server (with internal disks) 7480VA
Maximum configuration V2500 Server (without internal disks) 6984VA
Maximum configuration V2600 Server (with internal disks) 8000VA
Maximum configuration V2600 Server (without internal disks) 7510VA

Re: Power consumption of a V2600 server

Hi there.
If you use a powersupply for backup,
you should think about a 64A connection.
The server itself will work with a 32A connector.
The reason for the 64A is the battery pack.
If you have low batteries from several outages, additional power will be needed to recharge the batteries.
We use a V2500 with a 5.5 kVA UPS ( 64A connector to mains ).
