PowerTrust A2998A
I want to use this unit as a UPS for Win2000. However, it is invisible when connected to a Windows server. I have used an APC and standard serial connector. Any thoughts as to why it is invisible?
Also, who is the UPS manufacturer - some A2998As were made by several manufacturers, I believe.

Re: PowerTrust A2998A
HP apparantly doesnt support the PowerTrust on Windows environments. HP offers APC power supplies for their NetServer line, so the A299xA and others must have been designed only to work with HPUX.
I know I didnt help you out much, but that is what I found on this.
