PowerTrust A3589A and A2998A

I noticed on the forum that manuals for these units in pdf form have been exchanged. I would greatly appreciate if anyone could send the user manual via E-mail for any of the above. I am attemting to communicate with these via pc terminal with limited results. Thanks very much

Re: PowerTrust A3589A and A2998A

The manuals exchanged were pretty much just specifications.

At this site is the latest info for HP UPS's and the connectivity setup may be similar.

Thanks for your reply. It would be helpful if I could locate the command set for the older units. I'm using a pc in terminal mode and would like to reset the shutdown timer. Knowledge of the ascii command set would be very helpful. Thanks again.

Unfortunatly HP does not appear to recognise these earlier UPS products as they have been replaced by newer versions and the link only shows those ones.

One discussion thread links to a .pdf at xfer.avnet.com but this goes nowhere. I am also trying to get documentation for this UPS to find the battery replacement procedure and command structure.
