Probably hardware error
I am getting several of FLT error codes when I trying doing a 'SEA'rch from the Boot Main Menu.
These are as follows -
FLT BUS 5108, 5408, 5208
FLT TRAPS CBF0, CBF1, CBFC
This system is a K460, which we use for trash an burn....guess I've really burnt it this time!.
Any help would be very helpful.
Thanks,
Pete

Re: Probably hardware error
FLT CBF0 HPMC handling initiated
FLT CBF1 OS did not replace PDC IVA
FLT CBFC Branch to OS HPMC failed
If you have some kind of hardware support I would call HP.
Hope this helps,
Robert-Jan

Re: Probably hardware error
I wish we did have a support contract for this server.
Is this something that I may be able to rectify.
We do have several other servers that I can canabalise.
Regards,
Pete

Re: Probably hardware error
Go there and use the PIM command to see if any more detail is available.
--------
Brute force: remove / swap hard drives, IO cards to see if you can make the problem go away. Since it happens during SEArch cmds. it my be IO-related.

Re: Probably hardware error
FLT 5408 = Same, but Slot #4.
FLT 5208 = Same, but Slot #2.
Have you made any hardware changes since last bootup? (even reseating/replacing parts)
Josh
P.S. Yes, Help should be helpful ;)
