Re: Problem related to HP 9000 L 2000

Hi.

For starters I think the GSP battery will need to be replaced as the GSP is not keeping time.

Secondly it appears that one or more of your power supplies are having a problem. Essentially the power supplies are reporting that they are not generating enough or any power to power the server up. I suspect you will find that this server only has two power supplies in it (the L2000 can take 3 but needs a minimum of two working). I think at least one has failed and the total power avalable is not enough to boot the sytem.

Re: Problem related to HP 9000 L 2000

Log on to the GSP and run "ps" to see the status of the power supplies.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Problem related to HP 9000 L 2000

hi,

check the power cables, incase someones pulled one out.

then check the status of the power supplies in gsp.

you dont have enough power to run the server

Re: Problem related to HP 9000 L 2000

Hi,

- Check your electricity grounding, make sure it is grounded
- Check your power supply with 'PS' command
- If there is nothing wrong with both of it there is another 2 possibilities, your 'platform monitor' or your 'power harness' most likely is your 'power harness'

Regards,
Sandy
