Problem with HP9000/J210

One of our boxes an OLD J210 just crashed. The LED display shows following errors:

Any suggestions or documents with error codes?

Re: Problem with HP9000/J210

The "FxyF" codes indicate a running system.

x=... means length of run queue

y=1 means 1 CPU

This looks pretty normal.

Is it up?

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Problem with HP9000/J210

The front panel is showing the tests and faults during startup hardware tests and the running condition you have seen.

Not sure if it is worth to investigate the crash, since you likely cannot get spare parts or patches for this historical machine.

Bad hardware will likely be detected during startup.

You should investigate at least root's mailbox, maybe the diagnostic has sent a message.

A flipped bit in memory or CPU cache may have triggered the crash - maybe ...

You could start the system, stop in boot menu and check the memory information and PDT (memory page deallocation table).

Hope this helps!
