Problem with LX Pro server with 4 x 200/1mb CPUs
Hi
Recently one of my LX pro with 4 x 200/1mb CPUs develop strange problem. The server will not post with 4 CPUs. After inserting 2 second CPU board and powering it on the server will not display any thing on the front panel. Removing the board and running it with only 2 CPUs or putting boards with Pro 200/512mb CPUs and system will post without errors. I only have 2 CPU boards with 200/1mb cache processor but only of them will run
in the system at the time and system will not run with both of them at the same time.
The system developed this problem after running it for couple months and power was recycled during the POST. After this server with 4 CPUS in it will not POST.
I re-flashed the BIOS and cleared CMOS and nothing. Server will not run with 4 1mb cache CPUs. Am I missing some trick to make it work again?

Re: Problem with LX Pro server with 4 x 200/1mb CPUs
You should post this in the netservers forum. this forum is for the HP Unix servers. You probably won't get much help here.
What are the chances...
