Re: Quit from GSP

This depends of your server model.

On some there is an option "X" for exit.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Quit from GSP

Hi,

Just a warning about using ctrl-] - this quits a telnet session.
Make *sure* you've logged out of any console session because if you don't *anybody* that attaches to the console will already be at a logged in *root* session - not a good thing.

My 2 cents,
Jeff

Re: Quit from GSP

You can use co to go to the console mode, to go back to GSP use CTRL B

Re: Quit from GSP

In fact, the disconnect for the older GSP types is not mentioned in the documentation. IMHO the only way is to exit the OS session and go back to the GSP prompt. Now it's save to exit/end the telnet session, e.g. closing the window or do the ^].

Another way is the "DI" command, this will disconnect *ALL* LAN connections to the GSP.

On the serial console every CTRL B will prompt you for the password, so it's save to leave the console in CO mode at the getty prompt.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
