I opt for 'DI' - while it's got a potential of messing up the configuration it at least works and disconnects.

- going to a console session won't disconnect
- disconnecting Your remote session won't disconnect

anyone with network or physical access to Your GSP will be able to reset and possibly boot to singleuser mode unless You're disconnecting properly.

(of course this is almost irrelevant if You have a bad GSP password.)
