R390 Console not showing up anything

The R390 console port was plug in with the web console. Once I login the web console I can't see anything from the screen. But I can see it from the graphcal card to a monitor.

Anyone know if there is a setting require ?

1) Check that console is powered up.
2) check that the console has its own network connection to a switch that the D box can access
3)The console can be reset to factory defaults by powering it down and powering it up with the power button being held down.
4) After resetting,you log into the default http for the console and configure it.
5) Make sure the web console is connected to the proper port/connector on the D box.

What kind of web console is connected to your R390?

Have you assigned it an IP Address?

You could try to reset the console which will have the default settings after which you can login and configure the settings.
Makre sure all the connections are correct.

Try killing off the process that talks to the console .

Login via rlogin and do:

ps -ef | grep console

You will probably get a couple of lines:

root 2000 1 0 Feb 17 console 0:00 /usr/sbin/getty console console
root 2867 19348 5 13:07:34 ttyq6 0:00 grep console

Kill of the console getty with "kill 2000"
