RP2470 Free memory slots.

Hi All,

I have requirement to find out the free memory slot in A500-6x. When I run cstm I got the following detail. Its showing only the slots which have memory. Can I assume that 4 slots are free?

Hi George,

The A500 aka rp2400 only has 4 dimm slots. Max memory is 4GB with A6114A (2x1GB) product.

In your case all slots are occupied with 512MB memory modules.

The rp2470 has 8 memory slots, max memory 8GB. You have 4 free slots.

Then why its not showing the free slots?
Normally cstm will show free slots right?

* Eight slots, A400 can only use first 4 of those
* 256MB (1Ã 256) minimum, A400/rp2430: 2GB (4Ã 512MB) maximum, A500/rp2470: 8GB (8Ã 1GB) maximum
