Did you configure the GSP ?
Run lc command and set a name for lan-console.

It could also be a GSP or firmware revision issue, but is usually just a configuration issue.

Also check you /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log for any errors.

SolutionThis is probably due to the fact that an HP CE needs to run the SS_Update utility to set system specific ID info on this new MB.
This is a utility that only HP personnel can run.

your system has a problem with its serial number.
If you replaced the original with a new replacement part with a blank serial number, you may run "init" from the service menu.
You are able to set the product number and the serial number only once - be careful!
