RP2470 system bus adapter function failure

Following is the GSP Log contents.

SOURCE: 8=I/O
SOURCE DETAIL:2=system bus adapter SOURCE ID:6
PROBLEM DETAIL:3=function failure

Any ideas to get rid of this issue?

Seems to be hardware problem to me. Call HP.

Are you able to boo the system??? Can you check the the said board for loose connections, loose cables etc.??

The server seem to be having issues related to Hardware, a case will have to be opened with HP on this

I have been having the exact problem as you are having but its on a rp2405.

The server has goes down own its own.

its seems to be a firmware related issue.
im still working on it.

A message to all:

I recall correcting this problem by reseating the I/O cardcage. There are two screws and the lift lever to get it out, after you have removed the PCI card in slot 1.

Please be certain that you are using some type of static strap while doing this type of activity!

Also, please be aware that your server will not boot with the main cover removed, there is a lockout switch.
