RP4440 CPU deactivation

Due to a software licensing requirement, I have been asked to disable half of the CPUs on my RP4440. The server has 4 dual modules for a CPU count of 8. In the past on a N4000 server I was able to interrupt the boot and disable CPUs. Can this be done on a RP4440?

Re: RP4440 CPU deactivation

Hi,

You can certainly interrupt BCH and go to the Configuration Menu (CO).

From here you can select:

CPUconfig [] [ON|OFF]

....and deconfigure CPU's as required.

Whether this is the correct way to do it from a licensing point of veiw....i'm not sure.
