RP4440 lost RTC and cannot see second Hard Disk from BCH
Not sure where the issue is. Initially I had a 11.31 os loaded at intscsib.0. Then reloaded the second disk (instscsia.1) with 11.11 and It ran for about a few months no issues, then in about month 5 or 6 the system died on the developer and upon reboot, it took 5 hours.
Come to find out the RTC and the MP batteries died.
Finally got the system up to the BCH, set the time, set the autoboot, autosearch and quick boot, and the original 11.31 disk boots. IT cannot see the second disk or path from ioscan (ioscan -funC disk). IOSCAN does see the dvd drive.
At the BCH Service --> SCSI shows both paths set to scsi ID 7. Is this correct? I have tried to set one Path ID to be 15 and 6 but still does not see the second disk with SEA.

Re: RP4440 lost RTC and cannot see second Hard Disk from BCH
It cannot be ID 7 for the disk, this is reserved.
AFAIR the internal disk IDs are fixed anyway.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: RP4440 lost RTC and cannot see second Hard Disk from BCH
Hi Mathew,
Could you please share the error messages and related ioscan output, the issue probably due to loss of boot info as both the batteries dried.
