RP4440 server system led Blinking
Hello,
The System LED on my rp4440 server is blinking RED all the time even between the reboots, although the HPUX seems to run fine. The manual doc states that the red light means "Hard Fault, system halted", but it's running on. i checked the system evnet log which describe as below.

Re: RP4440 server system led Blinking
Hi,
the event
MEM_PDT_TABLE_FULL
is critical and probably the reason for the blinking light. This means you have a memory problem.
The best idea is probably to contact your HP support to get the problems analyzed.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: RP4440 server system led Blinking
Hi,
Looking at the info in the log, specifically:0x448000A700E00240 FFFFFFFF004AFF74 MEM_CORR_ERR
This would possibly indicate at single bit correctable error on DIMM 4A.
The fact that PDT is full would suggest you are having alot of repeated memory errors - possibly from the above mentioned DIMM.
It would be worth logging a fault call with HP and sending all of the logs along with the PDT information - this may help to conclude that a single DIMM is generating lots of errors and needs to be replaced.
