RP5430 Dip switch settings

Hi-

Does anyone know the dip switch settings for the 875MHZ CPU's on the RP5430?
We tried the RP5470 settings 3 5 7 on, and it didn't work.
Thanks,

Patti

Re: RP5430 Dip switch settings

Patti,

3,5,7 on is what I have. I've used it in a rp5470 before. Note that only the 'B' version of the rp5470 (A6144B) supports 875MHz CPUs. also, there is a minimum firmware level that is required for the 875's to work.

See this link, and make sure your firmware is 42.19:

Re: RP5430 Dip switch settings

Hi Patti,

I have to agree Josh.
The "standard" mainboard that came in the rp5430 would only support up to 750MHz and maybe only 650MHz.
And as he also points out up-to-date FW is a must if you do have the proper mainboard.
Remember the 875 CPU is a PA8700+ - not a PA8700 like the earlier, slower CPUs.

Jeff
