I am putting in 2 cell boards configured exactly alike. However I am using AB23004001 procs.I have 2 on each cell board. When I put them in one at a time it works fine and see's everything and boots up.When I try with both cell boards together the machine will not boot.I get an proccessor family change error.I have heard of some problems with these I was wondering if anyone has come across this. They work fine by themselves but not together.
Thanks
Jon

Solution
Hi,
"processor family change" message is given by MP during power-on self test.
Do you see any other errors/messages after this error?
I would check the firmware versions using "sysrev" and the complex profile using "ID" command of both the cell boards.
Is there any "upgrade" going on here?
As far as the processor "AB230-04001" is concerned , it is a newly manufacturing CPU model Processor Chip Release Version (CVERSION) after A6437-04008. Both can work together ( mixed ) with latest firmaware.
