RP8420 FW Downgrade

Hi

For testing purposes we need to downgrade the firmware on the rp8420 from 4.0 to either 3.1 or 3.2

Any hints or advises?

Thank you in advance

This is really not advisable, because you can easily do a wrong step and render your system to a heavy room heater.

I'm not sure what do you want to test and if this is worth to take the risk, but I would recommend to ask your HP support about your problem behind this question.

Hope this helps!

Re: RP8420 FW Downgrade

i have done downgrade before but on a superdome. it was an issue after a firmware upgrade and the 1 level downgrade was ok.
e.g. upgrade 3.1 to 4.0, hit with issue, downgrade it to 3.2.
