Root Disk Recovery Error

I've a 9000 K series with hp-ux 10.20 and i'd changed my root disk because a hardware failure. When i boot from my ignite tape and try to recover the system i get the message "There is no root volume (mount point = /) defined in the configuration". There is any disk initialization process or some like this that i can do for avoid this error?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Root Disk Recovery Error

Did you configure the same SCSI ID to the new drive?

Hope this helps!

Yes, i'd configured the same SCSI ID in the new drive and i'd checked the hardware path is the same that the previous.

Re: Root Disk Recovery Error

Look at this thread - someone else had the same error (plus another one) - it looks like you may have to use an interactive restore.........
