dear all,
i've got a processor deconfigured in one cell of a SD32000, and i need to replace it. what i wonder is should i just replace that CPU, or to replace the whole cell board? and in that replacing procedure, what do i need to do, like upgrading firmware, and what do i need to take care?
thanks a lot, your reply will earn you points

A superdome is normally fully covered by an HP contract. So ask HP for an intervention.
This is the doc about replacing components.

Re: SD32000 replacing CPU
Just in case this is a first generation dome and not covered by contract - it should be enough to replace the CPU. But follow the instructions - this is really important!
Otherwise contact the HP support, they will help you!
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: SD32000 replacing CPU
dear all,
thanks a lot, the problem is that i don't have an contract so i need to do that replacement by myself.
