SN and system board?
My N4000 lost SN and model number, and we do not have any service contract with HP because the server is too old.
My question is: if I change a System Board for N4000, how about SN and Model number? Could you give me a hand?
Thanks a lot!

Re: SN and system board?
Hi,
even on a new system board the product number and serial number must be set. Otherwise the values may be invalid.
Special tools are needed, only HP has them.
I would recommend to contact hp, even if you don't have a contract.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
