SNMP Card manual

Hi,

I've got an PowerTrust II LR, I like to install an SNMP card for that.I'm not sure in one thing.May I put the card in to the UPS online or need I shutdown the server, and ups?
I searched the web, (a lot of HP sites) and here the forums, but I can't find any manual for this card.
Please help me to solve this question.

Thanks for your help, I read the detailed informations, but one thing is not clear for me.
Can I do the SNMP card install online (while the server is up and run) or I need to switch off it?
The server is an HP9000, working on the production line, so when I make some modification on that, I have to wait for shutdowntime.(it's mostly in the mornings
3-4am.)
So shutdown the server for this card install or not?
(to be, or not be....?)

Hi Peter,
you must shutdown the UPS to install SNMP card. Read the doc:
"Hewlett-Packard PowerTrust II-LR
Uninterruptible Power Supplies
SNMP/WEB Card User Guide"

Remember, that after SNMP card installation, the UPS's serial interface will work only for configuration of SNMP card, and will not work for UPS signalling.
