SPU Clock
Does the clock on the SPU for the HP9000 PA-RISC series use GMT as the basis of time or
does it use local time?
HP has a patch out for 11i to update the change in the US for daylight savings time.
I am trying to assess the potential impact on the SPU.

Re: SPU Clock
The clock uses GMT. It adjusts the diplayed time using the offsets in the tztab file, depending on which yime zone you specified.
The patch updates the tztab file and is to recognize the new dates for daylight savings time in 2007,

Re: SPU Clock
Thanks.
Everything made much more sense once I was able to find a few more postings that essentially stated what you had said. I had seen the patches but was more concerned about the SPU. However, that really doesn't matter in the case of daylight savings time.
