Secure Web Console Issues

Secure Web Console Issues

Hello. I am having a problem that is affecting all eight of my HP Secure Web Consoles.

I am in the processes right now having the speed and duplex settings verified for each ethernet connection and so far the majority seem to be set at 10 half with two of them at 10 full. Irregardless, all display the same issue...I often get 403 Forbidden messages.

"Error: Prospero access denied
Cause: The maximum number of clients are connected.

Try again later... "

Now if I constantly keep retrying I will eventually get access to the console. Since I get this on all of the web consoles, I don't think it's a problem with the duplex settings.
Can anyone shed some light on what could possibly be causing this problem? Could it be somthing so simple that I am overlooking?

Many thanks in advance.

Re: Secure Web Console Issues

Do we talk about the small grey boxes?
Sometimes there is a bit confusion about this.
Check if all have the same firmware.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Yes, the small grey boxes. We're not talking about GSP. They are connected via RS-232 cables. All the firmware is identical on them.

Thanks,

Re: Secure Web Console Issues

The latest version was A.2.0 - do you have it?

reg: The maximum number of clients are connected.

You probably need to logout some clients or reset the SWC.

Hope this helps!

Re: Secure Web Console Issues

All the SWCs are running 1.9 of the firmware. I have reset these devices on numerous occassions and still get the maximum number of connections error. Stupid question but how exactly would I be "logging them out?" It's just me trying to connect. There is no one else.

Thanks,
Pete
