Sendmail appends domain name?

Hi
I am running a shell script which requires an email address as Input. The email comes to me OK but it appends a suffix like @mycompanyname.com. Can someone help me fix the same. Attached is the script. Thx

Hi Ragu,

could be the suffix @mycompanyname.com is configured in the sendmail.cf file.

# grep Dj /etc/mail/sendmail.cf
