Server Family D and Server Family K

Hello Everyone

I have 2 king of servers, one is a D family server and the other is a K family server,i have a DIM RAM memory of K server and i need to know if are compatible with the D family server, is it posible to chance that memory from K family server to D family server, are compatible ???

They had different part number and were not supported across families.

Hi Alan,
They do have different part numbers as stated, but they are useable in either machine, remember to load them in pairs 0a/0b 1a/1b etc,

Just because they work doesn't mean that they are supported by HP. Of course, if you don't have an HP support contract then it may not matter to you.
