Service Manual for RP7410

Simple question. Where can I find the Service Manual for Rp7410-8. I need to check some h/w specification about cpu and memory. Thanks!

Re: Service Manual for RP7410

Hi

There was a question sometime back about the same subject and I have taken some info from that thread

http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/2460/bcg_en.pdf

http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/2461/A6752-96008.pdf

Hope this would help

Re: Service Manual for RP7410

To Gopinath Haridass, I can access the first two, but not the last one, not too much info about cpu and memory.

To G. Vrijhoeven, I need password for the Rp7410 info.

But thanks anyway!

Re: Service Manual for RP7410

Hi Victor,

Generally HP will not release the *real* service manuals to the general public _until_ the system has been discontinued - i.e. when they no longer sell them new - THEN they'll release the service manual.
Until then you have to make do with the owner's and/or operators guides & sometimes upgrade guides.
If you think about it - it's a revenue decision - they don't want to impact the support revenue stream by giving owners access to make their decision to forgo support contracts easier.

My 2 cents,
Jeff
