Sharing Disks between D-Class Servers

Hello all.

I'm trying to make some Service Guard Tests with two D390 boxes. Since I do not have an external storage, I'm trying to share scsi disks from one box to another but I don't know how! I'm not sure about the terminator switches as well as the cable to use.

Can anyone help me on this?

Best Regards,

Re: Sharing Disks between D-Class Servers

You cannot share simple disks. You need a special enclosure that has two independent SCSI interfaces, often called an HA (high availability) enclosure. It essentially is a two-port SCSI box which can talk to all the disks independently. Connecting the same disks to different computers without special electronics will not work.
