Slots pci availables

Hello,
I have a servant rp4710 with two cells. I want to install two devices DDS and I need to know if the servant has slots pci available.

You can say to me as I can see it?
Thanks...

Re: Slots pci availables

Run xstm (/usr/sbin/xstm) - make sure your DISPLAY vairable is set first to your display (<0>). It shows a nice graphial view of all PCI slots and if they are free or something is installed into them already.

xstm is part of the Online Diagnostics which you should alread have installed.
Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...

You could probably tell by a visual of the server as well assuming its near you. Most of the slots are labled pretty well.

Re: Slots pci availables

Hi,

You can see the entire complex details of your server by using partition manager which shows the pci slots and occupied cards.

#/opt/parmgr/bin/parmgr

The above command opens a graphical interface where u can see all the CPU,I/O, Memory details of your server.

Thank you very much by the speed!

I already knew the STM, but not the Partition Manager..

Thanks another time.
