Sudden Reboot
weve got an HP-N4000 that reboots/shutdowns by himself. We traced the syslog, dmesg, etc... but could not find anything wrong. We suspected its hardware related but we dont have any proof. Please see attached tombstone files. Any help are highly appreciated.

Re: Sudden Reboot
if you had 8 procesoors and lost no 6, then its likely you have a B revision N4000? is this right?
A3639B
if so have you got a processor trim card installed?
You may need one as there was a bug in the B rev boards that need it with 8 processors in certain situations.
you can check by looking at the fru information in system menu of STM
should have part number A3639-60026 0r 60027 for the trim card and system board part number A3639-60020
or open the box and look at the back left corner for a board sticking up.

Re: Sudden Reboot
You can also look at the /var/tombstones file for a ts99 file which would point to a H/W problem. The only thing is I think that HP would have to review the out put.
