Superdome CLU failed

Hello every body

When I use "ps" to check my customer's superdome status and found CLU failed.
There are no logs after CLU fail when I use "sl" .
But the system(superdome 32way) is working normal and no impact to customer.

My question is that:
I know the CLU generates system clock and controls the I2C bus.
Why CLU failed will not cause the superdome down or hang?

Thanks

Re: Superdome CLU failed

Hi,

I would check your superdome's firmware, take look in the latest patch releases info.

- Under conditions that stress the MP Bus messaging system
(OS and application-level operations do NOT stress the MP
Bus), utilities FW entities (CLU, PM, PDHC or CIO) may
infrequently lose communications with the MP over
the MP Bus. Usually, an entity will recover from this
condition on it's own within 15 seconds; however, if the
problem persists, incrementally perform the following
recover steps until the entity starts responding again
over the MP Bus:
