System board replaced on N4000. Now clock is too fast

We have an N4000 that had to have its sytem board replaced. Our hardware contract is through a 3rd party vendor. Although the machine is running the system clock is way too fast. Gaining about 4 hours in every 12.

The system board was originally an A3639A and was replaced with a A3639B. Processors are 440 mhz. The engineer set the the following on the DIP switches:

1,4,5,8 on.

Model displays correctly: 9000/800/N4000-44

Can anyone verify the switch settings are correct? Is there something else that needed done?

Re: System board replaced on N4000. Now clock is too fast

hi,

well the switches are acombination of ones for 440mhz and 550mhz cpu's

for the 440mhz 1,4,5 should be on all others off

for the 550mhz 1,4,5,7,8 should be on others off

there is actually a grid refernce near the switches on the later boards
