US Robotics modem on L class

I'm trying to install a US Robotics 33.6 modem on my Lclass 9000. It will dial out fine but when dialing in it answeres the call but does not show a login prompt. It's installed via a pci_mux. Does anybody know the correct modem & settings for US Robotics??

There is a simple way to test it , please dicoonect ht emodem from the serial line and try connecting a terminal or a console to the same , if you get a login then you are fine , if not then edit /etc/innitab and check the entry for that device file and change the off field to respan , once you get a login on that line w/o connecting a modem then you are good to go . ps -ef | grep getty should show the tty line on which you are connecting the modem too.
