P.S hp chassis code manual states that I have some sort of memory problem: FLT 7000 HPMC in the memory system
Is this the case, if so what type of memory problem?
Thx again

Re: ******* Unexpected HPMC/TOC. Processor HPA 0xFFFBE000 *******
Priority
Machine
Check
Some kind hardware has failed that requires the OS to crash.
A processor failure will crash the machine, even if you have 16 processors.
The best thing to do now is a full hardware check to find the fault.
mstm cstm xstm (X win).
Test and exercize all the hardware. You will find something has failed.
There may be a crash file in /var/adm/crash
There will probably be a ts99 file in the tombstone directory.
Gather that information, submit it to the HP response center if you have problems tracking down the cause.

Solution=> FLT CBF0 : HPMC
20041209.214702 EST nh FLT 7000&jC&j1D(@&j2D&j10L
=> FLT 7000 : Memory Error
20041209.214720 EST nh FLT CBFB&jC&j1D
=> FLT CBFB Branch to OS HPMC
* I used the workstation PIM decode tool (Free HP tool) to analyze these codes.
http://software.hp.com
-> Search PIM
-> HP-UX PIM Analysis Tool 3.5
(PimDecode)
It appears the system detected memory HPMC. I would suggest you will run PDC PIM command to check more detail about the HPMC PIM. You probably can see the suspect memory slot data like below.
HPMC type = 7000
slot XX

Do you know if there is a Pimcode tool for the HP9000 K Class & RP7410.
Thanks
