Hello.
We have an N4000 server that we need to upgrade the GSP firmware on but I can't find any documentation on how to do it. I found the patch name and where to download it but we've never done this before so I'd like to read some instructions.
Could you point me to any info?
Thanks,
Greg

Solution
Hi,
Along with GSP firmware download there would be PDF which will give full instructions!
Basically you need to set the IP for GSP (MP) interface using lc command. Then connect a ethernet and keep your firmware files in FTP server. (It could be same server also). Then follow the instructions.
This is sensitive process, read all instructions before start.
Verify the cksum values.
If you are keeping firmware files in a PC you need FTP server installed. (Bison FTP server).

Re: Updating the GSP firmware
You should be able to find a full description once you access the patch file.
www.hp.com
-> search PF_CCANGSPB0220
You should be able to get the link below.
http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/patchDetail.do?admit=-682735245+1118884989899+28353475&patchid=PF_CCANGSPB0220
-> installation instructions
If your GSP is A-version, use PF_CPREGSPA0112.
Note: Please read through the instruction carefully.
