Our company have a K260 server but they want to upgrade it to a K460. I have found a document mentioning upgrading from K360 - K460 but not a K260 - K460.. Is this posibile ? I have checked all the i/o boards,PSU,Mmemory,CPU etc.. and they all will work on a K460.. They only difference is the systemboard.. Does this mean that all i need to chance is the systemboard to upgrade this?? Or is there more to it ?
Any Help would be gratefull
Will

Re: Upgrade from K260 to K460
But do you reallay want to "upgrade" an oldtimer to another oldtimer?
Many companies are already about to discard the successors of these systems.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
