Using L class slider rackmount kit (A5556A), in A189XA cabinet

Has anyone tried this (presumably without the stand-off blocks), & does it work OK?

If you are talking about the standard HP rack, yes, it will work. The stand-off blocks are good and will hold the systems more securely. Read about installation instructions and safety standards from here:

Thanks for the info.
We have a customer that wants to install the slider rails in an old style rack.
We tried it some time ago in an old rack, but the slider drawer had 2 modes of operation, either very stiff or completely seized!
Must have been a dodgy slider kit!!!
