V class error message

Went to boot the V2250 and the following appeared on the LCD display:

"Reload firmware. Bad dispatch vector".
-------------------------------------------

Sounds like a bad ECUB or something happened to the firmware on the ECUB, so I have to either download firmware or order a replacement board.

Can anybody offer some advice/tips for what I should try to do next?
Thanks.

Re: V class error message

If you still have support on the box you should call HP for support.
IBoth firmware updates-replacements should be done by HP engineers.

Re: V class error message

One of my tech support people found out about a program in the spp/scripts directory called fix_boot_vector.cbus. He ran that program and now we can see the system booting.

Still have big problems though:

a) 0MB main memory found
b) System tries to boot and goes into perpectual "cache underflow".
c) We keep try to interrupt the boot, but the system doesn't seem to give us the chance to even interrupt the boot.

If anyone has run into this problem, please let me know. Thanks.

Re: V class error message

Are you sure about the error message ???
Isn't it "Reload firmware , Bad Display vector" ?

If the error is as above , refer the following document to resolve it.
