Web access to mp not working on rp7410

I am able to connect to the management processor via telnet using the ip address but not via internet explorer using the same ip address ('page you are looking for is currently unavailable'). This used to work, but the last time I tried it was some time ago, so I don't know what changed? This was set up for us by HP, so I don't know the setup steps and can't find them.

are you web enabled on your mp?

Telnet on your lan console, Once you are logged on your MP, go to CM (Commands Menu) and check EW (Enable Web)

When I issue the ew command, here is what is returned:
Current web access parameters:
web console : Enabled
SSL encryption : Enabled
certificate/keypair: Invalid (use CG to generate)

Enable Web access? (Y/[N])

Should I use CG to generate a new certificate for SSL? Any caveates?

Though I'll admit I'm not exactly sure, I would regenrate the certificate if it was me. I figured that if it is invalid, there must be something wrong. But again that's me.

I disabled the SSL encryption by using the es command. But it seems that mp has to be reset for this to take effect. I entered 'xd -s' and chose 'Soft reset the master MP'. It has been running for over an hour now. Is this normal, and will this cause a reboot of the rp7410?

The mp reset did the trick. I thought it was still running but it had already completed. Now since SSL is disabled I can conect via the web browser to mp. I think the whole problem was that SSL somehow got enabled when it never was before in the mp connection. Thanks for your help.
