What sort of NIC card for a T600
We have room for a half height card.
What sort of NIC card should we be investigating? We would like to have 10/100 full/half duplex capabilities.
TIA

Re: What sort of NIC card for a T600
Now all I have to do is to find out what sort of slots I have left. I know that there is only one and it is not full height.

Re: What sort of NIC card for a T600
there is (or at least was) an HP-PB 10/100BT interface on the CPL. It wasn't exactly a barnburner - with a tail-wind and enough CPU benhind it, it might be a 50 Mbit/s NIC.
Then again, I don't recall the HSC 100BT NIC being a barnburner in a T600 either, but then that goes back a looong way for my dimm memory.
If you buy either of those from sources other than HP, and even then, make sure you get the drivers too - on 10.20 at least, those drivers were _not_ part of the core OS - they were on DARTs.

Re: What sort of NIC card for a T600
802.3 LAN: J2146A
802.5 Token Ring: J2166A
Both use a single HP-PB slot.
But according to the guide you should exceed 10 lan connections.
