ZX2000 Graphics Driver for HPUX11.22

Hi,
I have a zx2000 workstation running of HPUX11.22. At the moment, when I boot up the system, all I get is the "Console Login". It seems that the graphics driver is not installed.

I need help to find the driver for this version of OS. The card installed on the system is ATI Technologies Fire GL X1.

Please advice. Thank you.

Hi Irman,

Sorry, you're not going to find one.
HP has never & probably will never, release a HP-UX graphics driver for these systems.
Best you can do is run a CDE session from another workstation. Complain all you want, it will do no good. We had to force HP to exchange B2600s for our Itanic workstations because of this pathetic situation.

The zx2000 does support the FireGL X1. You need to use HP-UX 11.23 instead of 11.22 to get the FireGL-X1 working. 11.22 would only support the FireGL 4 and Radeon 7000.

Jeff is confusing the zx2000 with the older i2000. That system never had HP-UX local graphics support.
