The alarm light is set by the Service Processor, accessed via control b
Normally no username or password is required.
From there on the menues are quite self-explanatory.
co returns you to the console.
Remember a warning light is not ALWAYS a notice of total failure!

Re: a host: machine rp5430,and it's alarm lamp is on,how can i resolv it
Just to clarify... the lamp will light at the occurrence of an "event", and will remain lit even after the event is passed or cleared.
Following the above instructions to use the Service Processor to view the log will not only tell you what (and when) the "event" was, but the very act of viewing the logs will extinguish the lamp (provided the problem no longer exists).

I know the above to be true on RP74XX servers, I beleive it is correct on the RP54XX series as well.
Anyone - please correct me if that is not so!
