Re: attention light is on

You must be on system console / web conse / lan console and type CTRL-B, if you have not created a user name and passwd for the GSP, you can hit return at the login and password prompts.

The will get you into GSP mode. From there you type 'sl' to look at the Chassis logs. Once you have looked at the logs, the attention light will go off.

Re: attention light is on

No this won't reboot your system.

Once you are done reading the logs and are back at the GSP prompt, just type 'co' to exit out of GSP.

Re: attention light is on

hi,

You can turn off attention light by just reading system logs in service processor.
At the console,
press Ctrl + B which will offer you service processor login.
Display will be ...
Service processor login:
Service processor passwd: < press enter>
Type "sl" and now you will see the message below.
Select chassis code buffer to be displayed (I/A/E/C/L) :
setup filter options on this buffer :
After reading the latest logs, type Q to quit.
Please notice that alarm has turned off at the moment.
At the GSP prompt,
type "co" to return to console.

No reboot needed

Thanks & Regards
