boot vpar from Hitache Array ?

Hi, we are going to build 3-4 vpars on a loaded RP7220 and we need to determine if the 2nd, 3rd & 4th VPAR are OK to boot from
our Hitachi Array ?

If so , how to install the OS to the array ?
I have never done that ?

Re: boot vpar from Hitache Array ?

Hi Hubert,

We have an xp128 which has represented disks to an rp8400 consisting of 4 vpar's that have the hpux O/S (vg00) installed on external disks.First the storage admin group will have to assign disks/LUN to you individual vpar HBA's. Once done, and you can pickup these device files you are good to go!
